Cape Town - Day 8 (Updated)

We got up and walked around Stellenbosch a bit.  It's a very cute, quaint downtown area with dozens of little shops, coffee houses, art galleries and restaurants.  We were moving a bit slowly after a long day of wine tasting the day before...

After taking an Uber back to Cape Town, Jen and I walked around the Clifton/Camps Bay area along the sea and stopped for lunch at Tuscany Beach Restaurant, which overlooked the ocean.  Camps Bay is a very scenic, posh neighborhood right on the water that is a popular tourist destination and reminiscent of South Beach.

After hanging out at Gow's place for a bit, we figured we should do something for our last night in Cape Town (which was a rather cold night), so we ordered and Uber and went down to the Waterfront.  We got a bite to eat at the bread company/bakery near the Ferris Wheel, and then walked around a bit, before taking a taxi back to Gow's house.  (The taxi drivers are always quite impressed that we are going to Clifton).  We chatted with Gow for a bit, who was back from her day at a reggae festival (yes, that's right).  After doing some work to prepare for the week ahead at Morgan Lewis, I turned in - we have an early morning flight to Hoedspruit.
